What we write to HubSpot
Where results land in your portal, how the DavenportAI property group works, and when standard fields are touched.
Everything DavenportAI produces is written to your HubSpot records as ordinary properties. There is no separate dashboard to check, and everything downstream (lists, workflows, reports, Breeze) works with the results as it would with any other field.
The DavenportAI property group
DavenportAI creates a property group labeled DavenportAI on contacts and companies. Every property it creates lives there:
- Internal names start with
davenport_and never change, so workflows and reports you build on them keep working. - Labels start with “DavenportAI” so your team can always tell where a value came from.
- Properties are created the first time you run a job that needs them. If you never use a capability, its properties never appear in your portal.
Standard fields
By default, DavenportAI writes only to its own property group and leaves your standard HubSpot fields alone. When you set up a job, you can choose one of three write modes:
| Write mode | What happens |
|---|---|
| DavenportAI properties only (default) | Results go to the DavenportAI property group. Standard fields are not touched. |
| Fill empty standard fields | Results also fill standard fields that are currently blank. Existing values are kept. |
| Overwrite standard fields | Results also replace values in standard fields. |
The standard fields DavenportAI can fill are job title, company name, city, state or region, country, industry, and LinkedIn URL (when that property exists in your portal). In every mode, the DavenportAI copy of the value is written too, so you can always compare.
AI-inferred attributes
AI-inferred attributes are always written to the DavenportAI property group, never to standard fields. Each one is a band or label rather than an exact value, with a matching confidence property (high, medium or low).
AI-inferred attributes are estimates for segmentation and marketing personalization. Do not use them to make decisions about individuals, such as eligibility, employment or credit decisions.
What we never do
- We do not delete records or properties.
- We do not create new contacts unless a job is explicitly set up to.
- We do not write to deals, tickets, or any object other than contacts and companies.
